Who we are
Djavaweb is a web and AI development studio based in Surabaya, Indonesia. For any question about this policy or your data, email hello@djavaweb.com.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a consultation, we collect your first name, work email, company website, team size, the area you'd like help with, how you'd like to talk (email or video call), and anything else you choose to tell us. If you book a call, our booking tool (TidyCal) collects your name, email and the time you pick.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our site, we and our tools may collect:
- the page you came from, and campaign details in the link you clicked, such as a Google Ads click ID (gclid) and UTM tags;
- basic device and browser information, such as browser type, screen size and approximate location based on your IP address;
- how you use the page, such as pages viewed and whether a form was sent.
How we use it
- to reply to your request, run the consultation by email or call, and send you the written plan we promised;
- to follow up about the work you asked about;
- to understand which pages and ads bring useful enquiries, so we can improve them;
- to keep our site and forms secure and free of spam.
We don't add you to a marketing newsletter without asking, and we don't use your information to make automated decisions about you.
Cookies and Google tools
We use Google Analytics to measure site visits and Google Ads conversion tracking to learn when a visit from one of our ads leads to a consultation request. These tools use cookies or similar technology. When you send our form, we may also share a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address with Google so it can match the request to an ad click more accurately. Google can't read your email from the hashed version.
You can control ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Who we share it with
We only share information with service providers that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:
- Google (analytics and advertising measurement);
- TidyCal (call booking);
- our email and website hosting providers (to receive your request and reply to you).
We may also share information if the law requires it. We don't sell your personal information.
Where your data is stored
We're based in Indonesia, and our service providers may store data in other countries, including the United States. By using our site you understand that your information may be processed outside your own country. We take reasonable steps to keep it protected wherever it's handled.
How long we keep it
We keep consultation requests and related emails for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep project records for as long as we work together and as required for tax and accounting. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it to contact you. Email hello@djavaweb.com and we'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, for example in California, the European Union or Indonesia, you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honour them.
Security
Our site uses HTTPS, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to reply to you. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we'll make it clear on our site.
